Technical Support Analyst

Weyerhaeuser is seeking a highly motivated, team oriented,self-directed key contributor to provide a broad range of IT support functionsfor our Bruce MS Sawmill within our Wood Products organization. Key Functions
The successful candidate will collaborate and innovate withcustomers and virtual team members to develop IT architectures, develop bestpractices, and business computing strategies. This role is responsible for the Information Technology Infrastructureat the plant site. The reliability andperformance of that infrastructure directly impacts the success of themill. As a Technical Support Analyst, you will provide front lineinfrastructure support as the onsite IT representative in an individualcontributor capacity. The focus of this role is to support end users,manage all IT-related infrastructure at the facility, and participate in thedevelopment and testing of IT infrastructure standards with a larger virtualteam.
Success in this position requires developing customerrelationships, ensuring end user satisfaction, proficient communication skills(written and verbal), and a commitment to successful results through thecooperation of others.
You will also be a member of a virtual team that spans allCompany locations in the US and Canada. As a member of that team you will have the opportunity to work with avirtual team to define and develop the future of the company's infrastructureby testing, developing and creating standards and contributing to thedevelopment of the technology road map.
We are seeking a candidate with strong technical skills but wehighly value those that demonstrate strong character traits such as curiosity,insight, determination, attitude, aptitude, energy and the desire tosucceed. Training will be provided toshore-up competency areas where lacking.
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
Demonstrated safety focus
Three years experience in technical administration of PCs,Printing, Server Management, with demonstrated broad-based technical abilities. Experience in a manufacturing setting ispreferred.
Network skills: Route, Switch, Firewall/Security, Wireless,Circuit Management, Voice, VPN, general infrastructure etc. (Cisco/Meraki)
Facilitation and problem-solving skills and the ability tolearn new technologies in a fast-paced environment
Valued Process Control Skills
Experience interfacing with or supportinginfrastructure needs of a process-control environment
PLC programming experience / Allen Bradley

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
